Athletic Club's players have shaved their heads in solidarity with club-mate Yeray Álvarez, who is undergoing chemotherapy for testicular cancer.
"We're with you," Athletic team-mates tell Yeray
Álvarez was forced to drop out of Spain Under-21s' 2017 European Championship squad in June after it was confirmed that his cancer had returned.
The 22-year-old was originally diagnosed in December 2016, before having surgery to remove a tumour and making his comeback to Athletic action in February.
Accompanied by the message "We're with you, Yeray Álvarez," the LaLiga club published a photograph on Friday in which the defender's colleagues can be seen posing with their hair freshly cropped.
Yeray's treatment is scheduled to last for two and a half months, with the player continuing to do work at Athletic's training base to avoid losing muscle mass.
