Real Madrid news in brief: Saturday 15 July

With preseason well underway we look at what's going on with Los Blancos. Today: Ramos' return, Danilo's move, Juventus' Kroos interest and De Gea...

As the 2017/18 season approaches we catch up with what's happening with last year's European and Liga champions.

Ramos returns

Sergio Ramos is rested and ready to return to the Real Madrid squad on Sunday after an extra few days holidays. Chelsea consider Danilo

Danilo remains a target for Premier League champions, Chelsea. The right-back, who turns 26 on Saturday, would fit the mould of an Antonio Conte full-back, more intent on raiding runs up the right than stopping attackers.

Summer Kroos for Juventus

Juventus, who were dealt a blow recently by losing Leonardo Bonucci, could be lining up Toni Kroos to bolster their midfield according to reports. Juve are looking to strengthen and Kroos fits the bill but convincing Real Madrid to let go of their German midfield maestro will not be easy.

De Gea rumours resurface

Manchester United could be set to receive a bid of €56 million for David de Gea, who remains linked to Real Madrid. The English media remain adamant that Los Blancos' interest in the keeper has not waned.

Asensio counting the days

Marco Asensio is counting down the days until he can return to Real Madrid and join his teammates in UCLA, "recharging the batteries. Not long left before the good times start," he said recently.
