James Rodriguez makes debut as Bayern bag Telekom Cup
The Colombian played in the final of the pre-season tournament as the Bavarian side out-muscled Werder Bremen with a 2-0 win.

James Rodriguez has won his first trophy as a Bayern Munich player. The Colombian player made his debut for Ancelotti's side as Bayern secured the Telekom Cup this afternoon with a 2-0 win over Werder Bremen. The former Real Madrid player was fielded in a right sided position and linked up well with striker Müller.

The pre-season tournament is a one day affair with four teams playing games of 45 minutes. Bayern made it through to the final after a Robert Leandowski goal was enough to see off Hoffenheim with Werder seeing off hosts Borussia Mönchengladbach in a penalty shoot-out in the other semi..
