Guangzhou allow Paulinho to travel to Barcelona to complete move
According to Globoesporte, the Brazilian will travel to Spain to complete his medical, before being presented at Camp Nou on Monday.
Paulinho's move to Barcelona is imminent. The player's club, Guangzhou Evergrande, have allowed him to travel to Spain this Sunday to complete the deal, reports the Brazilian daily Globoesporte.
Paulinho will be presented on Monday
Barcelona will pay the Chinese club €40m for Paulinho, who will become the first-post-Neymar' signing at Camp Nou. The former-Tottenham man will travel to Barcelona to pass his medical, and will be presented by the Azulgrana on Monday.
Barcelona to not want to pay release clause
The same publication also states that Barcelona still have to resolve some loose ends with the Chinese Super League Club.
Barça want to treat the transfer as an agreement between both clubs, rather than a payment of the player's release clause, which would cause the club to incur tax obligations.
