Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal joined the coach in today's press conference to look ahead to Wednesday's Spanish Supercup return leg at the Bernabéu. The right-back was asked about some of the more problematic issues in the first leg:

The secret ot Madrid's game: "It's a combination of things. Basically I think that we are just all  pulling the team in the same direction. We have the best players in the world here and the boss is managing everything well".

Carvajal eyeing more silverware with Real Madrid

Best moment of your career "I am very proud of this team. Every day I feel as though I am becoming a more important member of it. I'm no longer the youth team player I was. I have a lot of games under my belt - with Madrid and with the national team too. I want to enjoy this moment and improve as a player so I can keep winning trophies".

Sunday's refereeing: "It's impossible to know what goes on inside the minds of the ref. We just have to believe that they want to do do the best job they can. They're only human and they make mistakes like we do".

Cristiano ban, "a bit excessive" says Carvajal

Cristiano's five-match ban: "I think it's a bit over the top. Cristiano wasn't trying to put down the referee like some are trying to make out. It's frustrating. He shouldn't have been sent off and I just hope they reduce the suspension he's been given".

Victory at Camp Nou. "Beating Barça at their ground was an important step twowards winning the Supercup. We're going to try to put in another great game at the Bernabéu. We'll be going out to win - we're not going to take any chances with the result from the first leg".

Tempers left on the pitch

Scrapping it out with Luis Suárez. "He's a great striker. In the Clásicos tensions are high, so it's normal that there are scuffles and exhanges. Luis Suárez and both oursleves and Barça know that whatever goes on is left on the pitch. We are all colleagues in the same sport".

Should Luis Suárez have been booked for diving "It's up to the referees and the committees to punish players who simulate fouls to win a penalty. The TV images are very clear - everyone can draw their own conclusions. It's trophies what counts in this profession. But it's very rare to see a team lose a cup for refereeing mistakes".
