Real players couldn't believe it after clinching title

Los Blancos sealed last term's Spanish title with a 2-0 win at Málaga on 21 May, but had to settle for silverware-free celebrations at La Rosaleda.

The situation sparked clear bemusement among several of the players, with TV cameras capturing Luka Modric and Gareth Bale's incredulous reaction as Real's chief press officer, Juan Camilo Andrade, broke the news to them.

Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, branded the lack of a trophy "a f**king joke".
