Zinedine Zidane has left Luka Modric and Keylor Navas out of his 18-man squad for Real Madrid's LaLiga clash with Levante on Saturday (13:00 CEST).
With Real facing seven games in 23 days, Zidane has opted to rest the pair - who were both in action for their countries during the international break - ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League opener against APOEL FC.
Casilla in line for first run-out of 2017/18
Navas' absence means that the goalkeeper's understudy, Kiko Casilla, is set for a first appearance of the new season.
Achraf Hakimi and Borja Mayoral have also been omitted, while Raphael Varane's return from a hamstring injury continues and Cristiano Ronaldo is still banned.
Vallejo makes comeback to Real Madrid squad
Jesús Vallejo is back in the champions' squad after regaining full fitness following a month out with a thigh strain, and captain Sergio Ramos returns from suspension.
