Yannick Carrasco played his 99th game for Atlético at Mestalla yesterday. The Belgian is now just one game away from reaching a magical century of appearances - a figure which will allow his name to be inscribed on the Wanda Metropolitano's Avenue of Fame - the Legends Walkway leading up to the new stadium which features the names of every Atleti player who has made 100 or more appearances for the club. Carrasco has played 67 league games, 11 in the Copa del Rey and 21 in the Champions League. He has taken part in all three of the team's games so far this season and scored his first goal of the campaign in Las Palmas.

Nine current players feature in Atleti's Legends Walkway

At the moment, nine players from the current squad are present on the Wanda Metropolitano's Paseo de Leyendas: Oblak, Juanfran, Godín, Filipe, Koke, Saúl, Gabi, Griezmann and Torres. It won't be long before one of their team mates joins them - Giménez is on 98 games and could reach the 100-mark if he stars against Roma on Tuesday and Málaga when Atlético play for the first time at their new stadium on Saturday.
