No Kroos in Real Madrid squad for Alavés LaLiga clash
Toni Kroos is not part of Real's travelling party for Saturday's LaLiga match in Vitoria after missing training with a rib complaint.
Update:
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has left Toni Kroos out of his squad for Saturday's LaLiga clash at Alavés after the German missed training on Friday with a rib issue.
Real travel to Vitoria out to bounce back from their shock 1-0 league defeat to Real Betis in midweek, which left them seven points behind leaders Barcelona.
Kroos and Marcelo added to Real Madrid injury list
In addition to the absence of Kroos, Mateo Kovacic, Theo Hernández, Karim Benzema and Jesús Vallejo remain injured, while Marcelo has been ruled out for around four weeks by a hamstring tear suffered against Betis.
Defenders Álvaro Tejero and Achraf Hakimi are the two new faces in Los Blancos' travelling party for the week 6 fixture at Mendizorroza (16:15 CEST).
