"Dybala has missed two pens after being compared to Messi"
Juventus manager, Maximiliano Allegri, sent a message to his rising star saying he has to clear his mind after increased expectation seems to have affected his form.
The Juventus manager, Maximiliano Allegri, sent out a messsage to one of the clubs huge stars, Paulo Dybala, ahead of the important Champions League match against Sporting Clube de Portugal, advising that he needs to clear his head to move on.
Allegri says Dybala-Messi comparison fair
Both coach and fans of the Italian giants have seen a drop in form from their number 10, relative to that at the start of the season, and this has not been overlooked by Allegri who hopes to see him back at his best sooner rather than later.
"I spoke with him [Dybala] yesterday," the Vecchia Signora manager was clear to point out at the pre-match press conference. "I told him he needs to clear his mind. A few weeks ago everyone was comparing him with Messi. He was as good as Messi. Am I wrong?
"Since then he has missed two penalties," he continued, "Paulo is in an important time in his career, he is an incredible player, but he is allowed to miss two penalties".
Strong Serie A start, more to come
The 23-year old from Laguna Larga has already notched up ten goals in eight Serie A games, however, has not scored in the two most recent matches nor in the opening two Champions League games.
