Casillas agent says it's "crazy" to think his client will leave Porto
The agent of the former Real Madrid goalkeeper says it is strange that the player has not featured but says their is complete calm over the situation.
Iker Casillas' representative, Carlo Cutropia, says it is "crazy" to suggest his client will leave Porto soon but admits it is strange that he hasn't played in the last number of games.
"Of the crazy stuff I have seen, that is the craziest. It is crazy and there's no truth in it," Cutropia told Portuguese radio station Radio Renascença in relation to the rumours swirling over the possible departure of the former Real Madrid goalkeeper.
The agent said that Casillas "is calm and happy at Porto and he wants to play, logically, just like any footballer." He does admit, however, that "yes, okay, it's also strange," that his player was dropped for the last game in Liga NOS, the league cup and in the Champions League with reports suggesting it was for behaviour detrimental to the team.
"I believe that Iker and the manager speak everyday, but they are issues between the manager and the player. You have to give it time but there is complete calm. I am reading many things in the press, everything is false, and it leaves me surprised, and that's it," said the agent.
