England vs Spain U-17 World Cup final in Kolkata a sell-out

FIFA are anticipating a full-house at the Yuva Bharati Krirangan stadium with 85,000 fans expected to witness the England vs Spain final.

FIFA are calculating on a packed stadium tomorrow at the Yuva Bharati Krirangan which in its day was one of the biggest sporting arenas on the planet. A remodelling exercise where more seats were installed in 2013 saw the capacity reduced to 85,000.  

Football is followed with much interest in the Indian city of Kolkata with the English Premier League and Spain's LaLiga followed by large numbers of fans.

The match-up of both England and Spain in the Under-17 World Cup final has whetted the appetite of the locals as more than 50 local media outlets covered Spain's training session in the annex training ground where Santi Denia's young side trained at 1900 local time after travelling from Bombay. Ferrán Torres and Abel Ruiz were the most in-demand players with local media eager to talk to the pair ahead of tomorrow's final against England.
