Marcelo needed less than 20 minutes to open his account in the victory against Eibar. Zinedine Zidane deployed him in a more advanced position, with Theo Hernández stepping in at left-back. That more attacking role allowed Marcelo to be in the right position to finish off a sumptuous move engineered by Karim Benzema.
