According to Cadena COPE, the Chilean will join Eibar in a six-month loan deal for €400,000 in the January window. The Armeros will be obliged to buy him if they avoid relegation.
Acording to Cadena COPE, Fabián Ariel Orellana Valenzuela will be joining Eibar at the start of the New Year in a loan deal for 400.000 euros. If the Armeros manage to avoid relegation to the Liga 1|2|3, they be obliged to purchase the player outright for a further two million euros.
Orellana turned down Leganés in August
Orellana has hardly figured for Valencia this season - making just one, 80-minute appearance in last month's Copa del Rey tie against Zaragoza. Marcelino told the Chilean player at the start of the campaign that there would be few if any chances of featuring for the team. Orellana decided to stay, and turned down an offer to join Leganés, who had pinned their hopes on landing him for the new season. A few weeks ago, Superdeporte reported that Leganés were hoping to bring Orellana in to substitute the injured Fran Rico but that operation was blocked by LaLiga who don't consider Rico's injury to be long-term.
At 31, the well-travelled Orellana has enjoyed stints at Celta, Granada and Xerez in Spain and Udinese and Audax in Italy. He has scored 62 during a career which has spanned 12 years.
