REAL MADRID
Zidane: "You can't forget what this team has done. I don't"
Zinedine Zidane wants Real Madrid to keep cool heads and says their situation will change soon and also urges them not to forget their previous achievements.
Zinedine Zidane spoke to the media alongside Mateo Kovacic before his side plays Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday in the Champions League. Peter Bosz, the German side's manager, laughed off suggestions that the reigning LaLiga and European champions are in a crisis and Zidane also suggests that los Blancos have to keep their heads.
Asked what reasons he had to be omtimistic, Zidane said, "I am repeating myself every three days, I'm tired of always saying the same thing, that when I see my team I see them in good shape. It's true that we have to score more goals because the situation is not good enough when you are eight points behind in the league. But I am calm because I know later in the season, it will change."
"They can say what they want outside, I see things that most don't see. You also can't forget what this team has achieved. I don't forget. Those not with us can speak and comment, and it doesn't matter. Our situation is not the best, okay, but we can't throw away what we are doing," he continued.
