Raphael Varane injury leaves Real Madrid bare in defence

Zinedine Zidane faces a selection headache for the visit of Sevilla on Saturday after an injury to Raphael Varane left Real Madrid extremely light on defenders.
Varane likely to be out for Sevilla
Varane limped off in the 37th minute of Madrid's Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund with what appeared to be a muscular strain. With just three days until Madrid host Toto Berizzo's side, it appears unlikely that he will recover in time.
Jesús Vallejo is also absent with a thigh injury, while Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal are suspended. Casemiro, who is able to deputise in defence, is also suspended.

As such, Nacho is the only fit centre-half. Marcos Llorente may have to drop in to the heart of defence for a crucial match against Sevilla, who have the same number of points (28) as Real Madrid.
