Turkish media suggest Superlig return for Barça's Arda Turan
A return to the Turkish SuperLig moves closer for the current Barça player with domestic Turkish press suggesting a move to Basaksehir is imminent.
Turkish media are reporting that the current FC Barcelona player is close to signing a deal that will seal a move to Basaksehir Istanbul, the side that currently the Turkish top flight.
The reports indicate that Barca will accept to keep paying half of the player's salary with Basaksehir covering the remaining 50% and the Turkish club have even commenced preparations for the midfielder's presentation at their winter base in Antalya.
Arda Turan has stated on countless occasions that the only Turkish side that he would play for would be his boyhood team of Galatasaray. The player's agent Ahmet Bulut maintains that he is in current negotiation with an English, Italian and Chinese team.
The 30-year-old player took to his social media platforms stating that "much lies is written about me".
