Andrés Iniesta spoke to El Partidazo COPE after Barcelona's victory over Celta Vigo on Thursday night and remains confident that regardless of who Barcelona sign, he plans on leading Barca's midfield for the foreseeable future.

"Whoever comes, nobody will force me into retirement," he said as he assured that new Brazilian signing, Philippe Coutinho, "will find a very good environment to grow, and the price is not a problem, the important thing is that he performance as he can."

Iniesta spoke to Barca TV after the game and said he was delighted with the game and how their gameplan went. "We came out to set the tempo of the game against a team that want a lot of the ball. We knew that if we had the ball, they would suffer. We knew how to create superiorities and we didn't give them options."

The connection between Jordi Alba and Lionel Messi continues to grow and Iniesta was quick to praise the pair. "Their connection is very good for the team, it is essential and it gives a good look at the synchronization of the two wings we have," he finished.
