Ayew: Galatasaray reportedly in talks with West Ham for forward
According to reports, the Turkish giants have shown a strong interest in the 28-year-old Ghana international attacker.
Turkish club Galatasaray are reportedly in the race to sign West Ham United striker André Ayew, L’Equipe reported on Monday.
The news comes the day after West Ham rejected a £12 million offer from Swansea City for the 28-year-old Ghanaian international.
According to the Daily Mail, Hammers boss David Moyes is reluctant to sell forwards, particularly with Andy Carroll injured and Diafra Sakho looking to leave.
Ayew would join Galatasaray on loan
L’Equipe’s report claims that the former Olympique de Marseille star would be joining Galatsaray on loan for the rest of the season. The club would also have the option to buy the striker from the Hammers.
This season, the Ghanaian has so far made 18 appearances and has scored three goals.
Rumours claim that Ayew has his heart set on returning to Marseille, where he played for eight years and scored 60 goals.
