Marcelo: "Neymar will play at Real Madrid one day"
The Brazilian says his compatriot would fit in perfectly at Real Madrid and that all of the great players end up in white at some point in their career.
Marcelo has left the door open for the arrival of Neymar at Real Madrid and says all of the great players play at Real Madrid. The Brazilian gave an interview to Esporte Interativo in Brazil and was very clear about where he thinks his teammate will end up as talk of a potential move has been hotting up in recent weeks and months.
"I would like for Neymar to come to Madrid and I think he would fit into this team perfectly," he said. "He is a great player and the great players have to play in Madrid. I think Neymar will play for Real Madrid one day."
The left-back also spoke about the battle between Neymar in the last 16 of the Champions League: "I think that it's the final everyone expected. it's the game that everyone is waiting for in the last 16. PSG are in a good moment, that's evident, they have a really good team, an excellent squad. And Madrid have their history and tradition. It's a game that everyone wants to see."
Marcelo insists that Cristiano is not unhappy
The 29-year-old also looked at Cristiano Ronaldo's situation and assured everyone that the Portuguese is not unhappy at Real Madrid. "I don't think that Cristiano is unhappy. If he was, he would have left. Cristiano does everything he can to help the team. He is a mature guy and has a lot of strength inside this club. We all know his ability and what he can add."
