Diario AS understands from sources close to the player, that Neymar will be unavailable for the return leg as he has opted to undergo surgery and will be out of action for two months. Surgeons will insert a metal plate to weld together his factured metatarsal to ensure that he will be back fully fit in time for this summer's World Cup finals in Russia. The only doubt in the player's mind is whether to have the operation in Brazil or France.
PSG coach Emery however has denied the reports and said there is still a small chance the player could be fit for the Real Madrid Champions League return leg.
