Spain already know 19 players for the World Cup...but who else?

On Friday, Spain's national team manager Julen Lopetegui will reveal his squad for the upcoming friendlies against Germany (Friday 23 March) and Argentina (Tuesday 27 March). These friendlies form part of the final preparations for the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Spain's World Cup decisions

There are 19 players that are seen by many as guaranteed to be on the plane for Fifa's showpiece tournament. These are:

Goalkeepers: De Gea, Reina, Kepa Arrizabalaga

Defenders: Carvajal, Piqué, Ramos, Jordi Alba, Nacho

Midfielders: Busquets (currenty injured), Iniesta, Silva, Saúl, Koke, Thiago (currently injured), Asensio, Isco

Forwards: Morata, Iago Aspas, Diego Costa

This would leave just four places for others to fill and those that may be given an opportunity to do so in March include: Asenjo, Sergio Rico; Odriozola, Sergi Roberto, Bartra, Javi Martínez, Azpilicueta, Monreal, Alberto Moreno; Illarramendi, Suso, Luis Alberto; Vitolo, Lucas Vázquez; Rodrigo, Callejón, Pedro, Deulofeu, Mariano, Portu, Gerard Moreno.

With less than 100 days till the tournament kicks off, everyone will be trying to impress the manager with every minute played.
