Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will meet in the Champions League semi-finals, and Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi has not ruled out a summer transfer.

Robert Lewandowski will return to the Santiago Bernabéu when Bayern Munich face Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final. Pini Zahavi, Lewandowski’s agent, has not ruled out the Poland striker playing at the Bernabéu in a white shirt in future.

'Robert's transfer is difficult and delicate'

Lewandowski stopped working with his previous representative – Cezary Kucharski – two months ago. His future now lies with Zahavi, a 74-year-old Israeli who was involved with Neymar’s record transfer to PSG in 2017.

Zahavi’s mission is to get Lewandowski to Real Madrid. He has already made contact with Los Blancos, despite Bayern’s insistence that the player is not for sale. In any case, Madrid will not advance the operation until the end of the season.

When asked about Lewandowski’s future in an interview with Przeglad Sportowy, Zahavi replied that “Robert’s transfer is a difficult and delicate operation. Nobody can say whether Lewandowski will be here or there. Nothing has been decided yet.”

Real Madrid keen since Lewy's Dortmund days

Lewandowski – who has scored 35 goals in 40 matches for Bayern this season – has been on Madrid’s radar since his Borussia Dortmund days. Madrid held talks with Lewandowski’s representative in 2013, but the striker had already verbally agreed upon a move to Bayern.

Now, with Karim Benzema struggling for form, the Poland international is high on Madrid’s list of priorities for the summer transfer window.
