Real Madrid were back in training at their Valdebebas ground at 17:00 today after Zidane had given them the morning off. And the French coach had his full squad available to him except for defender Nacho ahead of this Wednesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich. Nacho has been out since picking up an injury against Las Palmas on 31 March.
Nacho trained apart from Real Madrid squad
Nacho trained on the sidelines, wearing trainers. Although the defender was optimistic about being fit for the Bayern match, it now doesn't look so clear he'll be fit for Wednesday's match. The muscle injury he picked up against Las Palmas, the first of his professional career, has a usual recovery time of three to four weeks, meaning his return for the Bayern Munich game was always going to be touch and go.
Juvenil A keeper Darío also trained with the first team on Saturday evening, having taken over from Moha as the number 1 at that level and the fourth keeper for Real Madrid.
The training session was focused on ball skills, before a possession and pressing exercise.
Real Madrid fly to Munich on Tuesday
Real Madrid will be back in training on Sunday and Monday at 11am behind closed doors. They then fly to Munich on Tuesday morning for a training session in the Allianz Arena before Wednesday's match.
