Nacho and Isco forcing the issue to be fit for Bayern Munich
Both players were out on the training pitches at Valdebebas on Sunday in a bid to recover in time for Tuesday's Champions League game.
Nacho Fernández and Isco Alarcón both rejoined Real Madrid training on Sunday ahead of the semi-final second leg clash against Bayern Munich next Tuesday.
Although Zinedine Zidane has stated he will not take chances with any of his players if they are not 100 percent fit for the visit of the Bundesliga giants, both Isco and Nacho were able to take part in full training at Valdebebas and offer the Real boss with a pair of potential options for the game.
Zidane to wait on Carvajal, Nacho and Isco
Starting right back Dani Carjaval has been all-but ruled out and Zidane has a few selection headaches ahead with Casemiro filling in in defence against Leganés at the weekend. Nacho is a natural replacement in either full back position.
The Brazilian completed the full 90 minutes on Saturday and was spared Sunday’s training session, pointing to a return to his usual position in midfield against the Bundesliga side.
The rest of Real’s starters on Saturday underwent a recovery session with key players who were given the day off, among them Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, stepping up their preparations for the crunch game against Bayern.
