Chelsea star Eden Hazard has gifted the First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, an autographed jersey of the South-West London side.

It is unknown if Akufo-Addo is a Chelsea fan or why the jersey was delivered to her, but as somebody heavily engaged in philanthropy, Hazard’s gift may well be a means for her to raise funds for her projects.

Huge surprise

On Friday, Akufo-Addo posted a video on Instagram in which the Chelsea and Belgium star is shown saying: "Hi Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo this is for you."

As a caption to the video, the First Lady wrote: "I believe one of the best surprises I have had so far this year, is receiving a personally signed replica jersey, by one of the world’s best players, Eden Hazard. A Chelsea football player, Belgian international and face of Nike Sports. Thank you so much."

Hazard will lead Belgium at this year's World Cup in Russia. Les Diables Rouges will play in Group G along with Panama, Tunisia and England.
