Sevilla manager, Joaquin Caparros, has won his two game since being installed as interim manager to finish what has been a frustrating season for Sevilla. They managed to get to the quarter-finals of the Champions League but have floundered in LaLiga and are battling now for a spot in the Europa League. They beat Real Madrid on Wednesday night to really confuse people over their form.

The andalusian had an interesting take on the way football is and how Sevilla's season has been when asked after the game. "That's the way football is," he said. "In five minutes you can go from being a whore to a nun."

Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos, became the first player in the Primera to score a penalty, miss a penalty and score an own-goal on his return to his former club. "Sergio is very competitive in his DNA and if he played against his father, he would want to win, at padél (popular racket sport in Spain) and if he loses, he would throw the racket away. That is why he will beat all of the playing records for Real Madrid.
