Nacho on Piqué comment: "We know him and that he likes these things"
The Real Madrid defender was speaking at the presentation of his campus in Alcala de Henares and said if people knew what players said to each other they'd freak out.
Real Madrid defender, Nacho, spoke at an event presenting their new sports campus, which is an initative he is involved in with his brother, Álex, a player with Cádiz as they put their name on the ground in Alcala de Henares. The defender spoke about the Clásico, his chat with Piqué in the tunnel during the game and the Champions League final and World Cup.
Champions League: "We are living one of the most beautiful eras in the history of Real Madrid and now we have the opportunity to fight to make history."
Fear of Liverpool: "No matter who the rival is, maximum respect for them because if they got there they earned it, maximum respect and we are going to make it difficult for them."
His first injury: "It's not the first time that I injured myself but it was the first time I was forced to stop. I felt bad because I'm not used to it. I am here now and totally recovered."
The tunnel with Piqué in the Clásico: "The Clásicos are played very hot-tempered. You really want to win. We know Piqué and that he likes these things but the relationship with him is great. He said to me that they have to win the league with more points (due to sending offs) and I said that we got too many sendings off for them to complain. If all the things came out that we say to each other, people would freak out."
Salah: "They have top players up top. They have had a spectacular year. Quick and with lots of goals in them. You just have to lot at the goals they scored. We have a very good defence to conter that."
