Neymar chosen to model PSG's new 2018/19 kit
PSG unveiled their new strip for next season and used Neymar in publicity images - despite media rumors placing him at another club after the World Cup.
As far as Paris Saint-Germain are concerned, Neymar is still the face of their marketing strategy and this afternoon, the club presented their new home strip for next season with the Brazilian modelling it, defying rumours that the player could be on his way out of the French capital by the end of the summer.
Numerous local newspapers claim that Neymar has struggled to adapt to life in Paris and reports of run-ins with team mates have only fuelled speculation that he has already decided to move after less than a year at PSG. But in the back offices at Parc des Princes, Neymar is still the principal figure both out on the pitch and in terms of attracting marketing revenue.
Nike design new PSG kit
The new PSG shirt is faithful top the classic club design - deep navy blue with a central, red stripe, but this time, Nike have softened the edges of the colours so that they blend together giving the shirt a more painterly look. The club badge, Nike logo and Fly Emirates branding are all present as before as is the logo of the club's other sponsors QNB (Qatar National Bank) on the left sleeve. The names of the competitions which the team will be involved in next season: Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue and Champions League are embroidered on the right sleeve.
