PSG promise Tuchel that Neymar will not be sold
German Süddeutsche Zeitung report that the new PSG coach met with the player and the Ligue 1 side are adamant he will remain at Parc des Princes.
Paris Saint-Germain have announced that Thomas Tuchel will replace Unai Emery as coach at the Ligue 1 champions. According to German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung, the former Borussia Dortmund coach met with Neymar on Sunday in the French capital.
PSG president Al-Khelaifi spoke to the media following the Rennes Ligue 1 match and was adamant that the Brazilian will remain in Paris. “Neymar will stay, that's a 2.000% guarantee”. Both the club and Qatari owner Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani have become heavily involved in the current situation and are determined to retain the Brazilian and have informed Tuchel as much.
PSG confirmed that appointment of Tuchel on Monday and the German is set to spend a few days in Paris before embarking on an intensive French language course in Belgium.
