BARCELONA

Barcelona's plan is to raise €100 million on exits this summer

Five footballers know that they are not needed by Ernesto Valverde including Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal and Paco Alcacer and will likely leave this summer.

André Gomes.

Antoine Griezmann has been on the agenda at Barcelona for the last number of weeks. While most are focusing on that potential transfer, Barcelona's board know they have a lot of work to do when it comes to transfers out of the club this summer.

Five footballers know that they will have to pack their bags in the coming weeks. Rafinha and Munir have long since vacated their space in the dressing room. Andre Gomes, who has asked to leave, Paco Alcacer and Aleix Vidal also know that Ernesto Valverde does not count on them as they try to figure out departures for them.

Buying expensive and selling cheap has been an issue for Barcelona in recent seasons and they will try to raise €100 million for departing players. It's something that will be difficult but not impossible. Recovering the investments on these players is out of the question. Gomes arrived from Valencia for €35 million, Alcacer for €30 million from Los Che too and Vidal came from Sevilla for €18 million. the more they can recover the better but the hard work starts for Barcelona now.
