Madrid legends, Raul Gonzalez, Roberto Carlos, Pedja Mijatovic, Alvaro Arbeloa and Michel Salgado, were soaking up the atmosphere in the Madrid fanzone in Kiev's city center, hours before the final kicks off.

The former players took to the stage to rouse the fans, who were extremely excited to see their heroes get involved in the party.

Who said fear?

"I was once in the enemy ranks. I know what the Liverpool fans are capable of. There are many more of them than us. But who said fear?" Arbeloa told the crowd, quoting the movie 300. "I want you to be heard tonight because the players are going to die for you and you for them Hala Madrid."

"It is a joy for the club and the team to feel your support and for us to be in the third consecutive final, hopefully it will be a great night, everyone will enjoy themselves and we can return with the cup," Raul said.

Fans praised for support

Michel Salgado also took the microphone to praise his former teammates and the fans. "We love you very much and we are delighted that you are here with the team, with the support for Real Madrid, it is impossible to lose a final, that's why we won them all and we are the biggest in Europe."
