Mo Salah continues his recovery programme in Benicasim
The Liverpool star arrived in Valencia on Tuesday and has been following a rehabilitation programme under the supervision of Rubén Pons.
Mohamed Salah is now well into the rehabilitation programme as he continues to recover from the shoulder injury he sustained in last weekend's Champions League final. The Liverpool ace will be getting back to full health in Spain, in Benicasim, with the aim of being ready to join up with his national team for next month's World Cup finals in Russia, which for Egypt, get underway on 15 June with a tournament opener against Uruguay.
Therapeutic treatment
According to TODOBENICÀSSIM, Salah arrived in Valencia on Tuesday morning and since thenhas been working out under the supervision of Liverpool physio Rubén Pons. Salah's recovery programme consists of physiotherapy sessions alternated with thalassotherapy - in which the medicinal properties of seawater, seaweed and marine mud are absorbed through the skin. The Egyptian will compliment those sessions with light exercises and walks along Vía del Mar beach.
Countdown to full fitness
Yesterday, the Egyptian Football Federation confirmed that their star player is expected to be sidelined for no longer than three weeks and will be at the World Cup finals, without fail.
