Kluivert and Guti in running for St. Mirren manager role
The former Dutch international is the latest individual to be linked with the vacancy at Love Street as Guti is on standby after Zidane's surprise ;Madrid resignation.
Following claims from the BBC that former Real Madrid player Guti is a key candidate to take over at Scottish outfit St Mirren another former international has been added to the fray as another potential candidate on the Love Street bench following the departure of former coach Jack Ross to English side Sunderland
The appointment of Guti at St Mirren is now more of a doubt given the shock resignation last week by Zinedine Zidane as the former Juvenil coach in the running to replace the French coach after many of the favourites (Pochettino, Low and Allegri) ruled themselves out of the position and Guti himself anxious to face a "fresh challenge" in his management career.
Former Dutch international Kluivert is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Scottish side and the Paisley based outfit must do their best to lure him away from his current role as sporting director at Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
