Ramos with first reaction as Lopetegui sacked as Spain coach
The Spanish captain took to social media to tell the Spanish people that the players' commitment is still total after Lopetegui's sacking.

Sergio Ramos was the first player in Spain's squad to react to news that Julen Lopetegui had been sacked as the manager of the national team after accepting the Real Madrid job without informing anyone in the Spanish Football Federation. Fernando Hierro has taken over from the sacked Lopetegui.

The Spain and Real Madrid captain tweeted: "We are the national team, we represent a crest, our colours, our fans and our country. Our responsibility and commitment are with you and for you. Yesterday, today and tomorrow, together. #VamosEspaña"
Other former players also had their say with former Spanish footballer, Juanito, praising Rubiales' words and saying "and that's not to criticise Julen Lopetegui. It is a great coaching opportunity and many people would have done the same. But the timing and the way it was done is not ideal."
