Casemiro will miss Brazil's quarter-final at this World Cup against either Belgium or Japan after picking up another yellow card, during Brazil's 2-0 win over Mexico.
Casemiro key to Brazil's defensive set-up
The midfielder is a key part of Tite's defensive set-up, which has given away only six goals in 25 matches, and just one at this World Cup. Casemiro was booked for stopping a counter from Mexico, pulling back Lozano.
Casemiro will be replaced almost certainly by Manchester City's Fernandinho, who has played in every match so far of the tournament, and is a player Tite has a lot of faith in.
