Caf hands lifetime ban to Kenyan referee Aden Marwa
Marwa was caught on camera by Ghanaian undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas accepting a 'money gift'.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has banned Kenyan referee Aden Marwa Range for life over an alleged bribery scandal.
Last month, Ghanaian undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas released a documentary showing football officials, including 77 referees and Ghana’s football chief Kwesi Nyantakyi, allegedly engaging in acts of corruption.
Marwa, who until the release of the documentary was a Fifa Coucnil member and a World Cup-bound referee, was filmed accepting a 'money gift' by an undercover reporter.
The 41-year-old has denied any wrongdoing.
