Ramos returns

Lopetegui bins his social-media accounts

Shortly after Real's 2-1 loss to Manchester United in his first game in charge on Tuesday, new head coach Julen Lopetegui raised eyebrows by deciding to delete his accounts on Twitter and Instagram. AS understands that the 51-year-old wants to be completely focused on the team's pre-season preparations and avoid any distractions.

Zico on Vinicius

In an interview with Globoesporte, Brazil legend Zico gave his thoughts on 18-year-old countryman Vinicius, who made his first appearance for Real in the defeat to United. "He needs to improve his shooting a lot," the former midfielder said. "He sidefoots a lot of his shots - his instep isn't his strong point."

Bayern not selling Lewandowski even for 150m euros

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says that Robert Lewandowski, who has been linked with Real Madrid, is going nowhere - even if an eye-watering bid were to come in for the striker. "We have no interest in selling him," Rummenigge declared yesterday. "It doesn't matter if someone offers 100 or 150 million."
