Uefa's PSG decision delayed until Monday

Uefa have decided to delay their ruling on PSG’s breach of Financial Fair Play regulations until Monday. If sanctioned, PSG would could be forced to let go of Kylian Mbappé, leaving Real Madrid with an opportunity to snap up the French World Cup star.

According to what AS has learned, Florentino Perez has insisted on not signing any more players, unless the opportunity arises to sign Mbappé following Uefa’s decision on Monday. For the Madrid president, at this point, it’s Mbappé or nothing.

Marcelino would congratulate Rodrigo on Madrid move

Perez’s stance may be Mbappé or nothing, although AS understands that Lopetegui has insisted on the signing of Valencia’s Rodrigo Moreno. Perhaps if the Mbappé situation does not work out, Perez will be open to bringing in the 27-year-old to appease the new coach.

At a press conference on Friday, Valencia coach Marcelino said that while he considers Rodrigo and important player and wants him to stay, he would accept his departure and “congratulate him” if “the three parties put an agreement in place”.

Nine clubs look to sign Vinicius on loan

According to what AS has learned, no less than nine clubs have asked about loaning Vinicius for the this season. Rayo, Valladolid, Betis, Real Sociedad, Leganés, Girona, Espanyol, Nantes and Udinese all want to sign the youngster in the event that Real Madrid opt to loan him out to allow him to gain some experience in top-flight European football.

At the moment, the plan seems to be that the young Brazilian starlet will train daily with the first team squad, but will line out for Castilla. Meanwhile, Brazilian legend Rivaldo has given his opinion regarding the Vinicius situation. “If he’s not playing it’s because of the coach’s decision and not to protect him, because the best way of doing that would have been leaving him at Flamengo," said the ex-Barca star. "If he’s in the squad, it’s because he’s good enough. They shouldn’t waste any more time.”

Raul makes debut as U-16 coach

The legendary, former Madrid captain made his debut as a coach with Real Madrid's Under-16s in the summer edition of the Madrid Youth Cup in Moratalaz this morning, drawing 1-1 with Japanese side Gamba Osaka then losing the next game 2-1 to Alcorcón which left his team out of the competition ahead of tomorrow's semi-finals.

Not an ideal start but life as a new coach is never easy. Who knows? Perhaps in a couple of years, Raul will be working with one or two of these U-16 players as coach of the first team.
