CHEMA DIAZDIARIO AS

Atlético de Madrid coach Diego Simeone assumed responsibility for Saturday's defeat in Vigo - a result which leaves his team mid-table on four points.

Overview of the game: "Celta played very well, they capitalized on the opportunities they had, they were very robust and that's what helped them to win the game".

Were you surprised by Celta's approach to the match: "No, the Levante game was similar - they both made full use of the pace they have up front. We couldn't punish them. They were very solid and obviously, once they went ahead, they played to stay there".

Weak areas: "We lacked a little precision in the final part of our moves and that was what reduced our chances of scoring".

Disappointing start to the campaign: "We never make assessments while we are involved in competition. We didn't play well, we didn't create enough and Celta were comfortable once they'd scored their second goal. They deserved to win".

It's a wake-up call - firstly for me because last week against Rayo we didn't finish the last 10 minutes strongly. And maybe my instructions for the start of the second half weren't clear enough".

Deciding not to take Savic off: "We already had a few players on bookings - Thomas, Saúl, Godín... We chose to leave Savic on and Celta were fortunate enough to get him sent off".

State of mind: "I'm not worried, I'm more relaxed than ever. Because it's a warning sign, it's a wake-up call which we have to take notice of".
