Ernesto Valverde gave his assessment on Barcelona's victory over Huesca on Sunday night.

Feelings after the game: "We're happy, since our goal was to win the Super Cup and get all nine points in the first stage. We conceded goals, but these are things that can happen."

Rakitic: "If they ask me to hand out individual awards, I would always give them to my players. They give everything for the structure of the team and the club."

VAR: "Celebrating goals late, we will get used to it. In the end, it's more fair and it seems to not affect the dynamic of the game."

Tactical systems: "We have a lot of games after the break, and everyone will need breaks and to play. What it will be will be to put out the best possible team to win three points."

Piqué and his fine after driving with no points on his licence: "I spoke to him and I don't think this kind of situation affected him. He is going to deal with it in the best possible way."
