Former Barcelona great Ronaldinho was back in Catalonia on Saturday promoting a foot-volley tournament organised by the sunglass brand Northweek. The event took place in Castelldefels, the home of Leo Messi, and the former Brazil international took the opportunity to talk about his friend and former team-mate.
"We enjoy a lot together," Ronaldinho, who lives between Brazil, Miami and Castelldefels, said about Messi. "I like the fact that he's happy. That's the thing I like the most," he said.
The former Brazil international also looked back on the early days of the La Pulga's career, reflecting on what set him apart: "We always knew that Messi would be the best. There were things that stood out from the rest. We weren't wrong," he concluded.
