Cristiano Ronaldo's museum posts curious Instagram photo
Less than 24 hours after losing out on The Best award, Ronaldo's museum in Funchal posted a photo that said "Nobody steals these trophies."
Cristiano Ronaldo has missed out on the last two prizes on offer during 'award season'. Luka Modric beat him to The Best award on Tuesday night and the Croatian won UEFA's Player of the Year award too.
Jorge Mendes said it was ridiculous that his client didn't win the UEFA prize but there was less discontent after The Best was announced even though he didn't attend the event after presumably being told he wasn't going to win. That decision was criticised by Fabio Capello and others after the fact.
Maybe the Portuguese and those involved with him are not taking it as kindly as we though, however, as Ronaldo's museum in Portugal posted a photo with all of his trophies with the caption: "Nobody steals these trophies. They have an alarm." It is accompanied by CCTV pictures of the museum in Funchal.
