Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan has been designated by UEFA to oversee Tuesday's Champions League Group G game as CSKA welcome Real Madrid to the Russian capital. The game has been moved to the bigger Luzhnikí stadium and will kick-off at 2100 CEST.
UEFA also selected Slovenian whistler Slavko Vincic to officiate Valencia's visit to face Manchester United at the iconic Old Trafford stadium with a 2100 CEST start also.
Real Madrid started their defence of their title with a solid home win against AS Roma at the Bernabeu in match-day whilst Valencia struggled against the Serie A leaders Juventus falling 0-2 at Mestalla. despite the Italian side having being reduced to ten men on the half hour mark as Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded a straight red.
