Mourinho loses the plot after late Fellaini winner
The Manchester United seemed disgusted with the performance and lost the plot after Fellaini's late winner over Young Boys that sends United into the last 16.

Jose Mourinho's tenure at Manchester United continues in its odd fashion as Marouane Fellaini netted late to see his side beat Young Boys in the Champions League. The late winner after a characteristically dour affair sends United into the competition's last 16 and Valencia crashing out thanks to their loss to Juventus.
Turn to the crowd and your own bench and shake your head in disgust at one of your own players, let alone a youngster. You just don’t do that as a coach. https://t.co/w1GX75yeaI

After the big Belgian's late goal, Mourinho kicked over a case of water bottles and picked up another, firing it back to the ground.

The United manager was criticised by Gary Lineker amongst others for his reaction to a Marcus Rashford miss when he turned to the crowd and nodded in disgust. The young English attacker has only scored twice in 14 appearances all season and is yet to register a goal in the Champions League.
After the game, Mourinho said, "Because I don't behave as a clown on the touchline, it means I lost my passion... I prefer to behave the way I am doing it, much more mature, better for my team and myself, I don't think you have to behave like a crazy guy on the touchline to have that passion.”
He also told reporters, "For some of my lovers, I just want to say: for the ones that like stats, 14 times in the Champions League, 14 times qualified through the group phases. Never one of my teams stayed in the group phase. The seasons I didn't play in the Champions League, I won the Europa League."
