Real Madrid: Isco back but Kroos and Marcelo out for Valencia
Santiago Solari has announced his 20-player squad for the match against Valencia on Saturday and the Spain midfielder is back in the fold.
Santiago Solari has announced his Real Madrid squad for the match against Valencia at the Bernabéu on Saturday evening and Isco has been included after watching the Champions League victory over Roma from the stands of the Stadio Olimpico after apparently having a falling-out with the Blancos boss.
However, Solari will be without Toni Kroos and Marcelo for the visit of Los Che, with the Germany midfielder and Brazil left back both having been ruled out against Marcelino’s side. With Casemiro also missing through injury, the Real boss will have a makeshift midfield on Saturday and may opt to play a 4-4-2 to compensate.
Solari still has to leave one outfield player and a keeper out of the final match squad of 18 and Isco will remain the big question until the teams are announced before the game. The Spain midfielder has not started a single game under the new Real boss and has been the subject of plenty of speculation as a result.
