Bale abandons the Bernabéu in the 78th minute of LaLiga defeat
Spanish television programme El Chiringuito revealed images of the Welsh player leaving the stadium in a car in the 78th minute of the game.
Gareth Bale left the Santiago Bernabéu early last night as his side trailed at home to Real Sociedad. Spanish television programme El Chiringuito revealed a video which shows the Cardiff born player leave the Bernabeu in the 78th minute as his side struggled to find the equaliser following the early opening goal for the Basque side. The player even missed the 86rd minute Rubén Pardo header for La Real which extinguished any hoped the Solari's side had at claiming a share of the spoils.
Injury
Gareth Bale picked up another injury in Thursday's game away to Villarreal and was in the stand at the Bernabeu last night for the first home game of 2019. The striker is also anticipated to be absent for both Copa del Rey ties against Leganes (Jan 9 and 16) along with the league match against Quique Setien's Real Betis on the 13th.
This current setback is the 22nd injury that the former Spurs player has suffered in his time since moving to the LaLiga outfit in the summer of 2013.
