Jordi Alba to continue at Barcelona until 2024 - La SER

Cadena SER's El Larguero programme reported on Tuesday night that Jordi Alba and Barcelona have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract until June 2024. The new deal will be announced once the January transfer window has closed.
Jordi Alba strikes new five year deal
Both parties have been close to reaching a middle ground on a new deal for some time and that was evident a few days ago at the Festa de l'Esport Catalá event when Josep Maria Bartomeu and the player exchanged knowing glances. On Monday, during Mundo Deportivo's gala, Bartomeu spoke publicly about a "five-year extension". La SER take that as meaning the new deal is done.
