Kovac: As an ex-player myself, I know when a player's faking it
Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovic admitted Kingsley Coman was probably pretending to be injured to waste time in last night's win at Hertha Berlin.
Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovic admitted Kingsley Comanwas probably pretending to be injured to waste time in last night's win at Hertha Berlin. Coman scored a stoppage-time winner after Bayern were forced to come from behind twice at the Olympiastadion.
"[Hertha coach] Pál Dárdai and myself are both ex-footballers and both of us know when a player is clutching his leg whether he really has cramp or if he is just pretending. Sometimes, they fake it a little. I know [Kingsley Coman] well. He’s fine. He was very tired and had no energy left and was faking it a bit”. Kovic told the press after the game.
