Piqué: from Davis Cup draw to basketball with Griezmann
Gerard Piqué made a quick getaway from Thursday's Davis Cup Finals draw to watch Barcelona's basketball team alongside Antoine Griezmann.
Once Thursday's draw for the new Davis Cup Finals was over at the Real Casa de Correos, the seat of Madrid's regional government, Gerard Piqué did not wait around to join prominent figures from politics and tennis at a drinks reception.

The Barcelona defender, whose investment group Partners Kosmos is a 3bn-dollar backer of the revamped competition, jumped in his car and made his way to the Spanish capital's WiZink Center, where Barça Lassa were to face Valencia Basket in the quarter-finals of basketball's Copa del Rey.

Also at the Barça-Valencia clash was Atlético Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, who sat close to Piqué. Despite being playing rivals, the pair have a good off-the-pitch relationship, with Piqué's production company, Kosmos Studios, making the Frenchman's recent documentary 'La Decisión' ('The Decision').
Piqué was also eager not to miss the half-time tribute to Barça Lassa's legendary shooting guard Juan Carlos Navarro, who retired in the summer.
